Whether you are a globetrotter, like me, or just travel for holidays the chances are you have taken a lot of fantastic photos. The problem is that when you get home they just sit on your electronic device gathering dust.

Photos to Canvas

That is a real shame. If you do not look at your travel photos many of your best memories will simply fade away with time. Thankfully, it is easier than ever to put your best photos on display and enjoy them. Here are a few ideas to get you started.

Turn the best ones into canvas prints

You can easily print all of your photos onto canvas. All you need to do is to pick your favourite ones. Go online, find a canvas print firm that delivers to your area, select the size and frame type. Then load your photos up onto their site. Once you have paid, your prints will normally arrive within a week or so. They look fantastic, so you could potentially hang a few in each room of your house. Some of the landscape ones will be nice enough to be given as presents.

Use them as screensavers

It only takes a few minutes to turn a few of your favourites into screen savers. You can have some you use on your phone, others for your laptop and yet more for your tablet. Every few days, take a minute to swap to a fresh snap. At the end of the month, load each device up with a fresh set. If you create 10 screensavers per month for each device, by the end of the year, you will have enjoyed 360 of your special travel snaps.

Create a clothespin photo display

There are loads of ways to display your photos in groups. One of the easiest is to create a clothespin display. You can make it as big or as small as you like and set them up on any flat upright surface. When you get bored with some of the photos you just need to swap them out for fresh ones. If you have a desk, try setting one up in front of where you sit at the eye-line level.

I guarantee looking at your travel snaps will make you smile and bring back good memories. This article shows you how to put one together and use various photo effects to make them even more interesting.

Share them with others

Sharing your photos with other people is a very good way to enjoy them again. If you went travelling with friends and family send them a couple of snaps via your favourite social media. It provides you with the perfect excuse to catch up and remind them of the good times you had on your trip or holiday.

Alternatively, you could set up an Instagram page and share your best snaps with the world. It is also possible to put together a simple travel website. You can do it yourself or pay someone to do it for you. But, if you do decide to do this, bear in mind the ongoing costs. You will need to pay for hosting and for renewing the website each year.
