With eight fully immersive, terrifyingly real haunted houses, two live shows, and scare zones filled with hundreds of horrifying scareactors -you are bound to get horrified. You’ll be among some of pop culture’s greatest with:
- Halloween – Based on the classic 1978 slasher film by John Carpenter, the all-new haunted house follows the story of Michael Myers and brings you on a Halloween fright-night experience that will horrify you.
- The Walking Dead – All-new terrifying mazes recreate Season 4 of AMC’s hit TV series placing guests in the latest destination, Terminus. Guests will be fleeing from the overrun prison to the strange new territory to battle survival from flesh-eating walkers.
- Alien vs. Predator – The all new terrifying maze places guests in an epic and primal war between the universeβs most deadly species -created after the cult sci-fi franchise AVP: Alien vs. Predator.
- From Dusk Till Dawn – The popular TV series inspired this all-new maze and will have guests tormented by sordid mythological creatures known as βCulebras,β serpent-like vampires. Residing within the elusive and sinister nightclub, βThe Twister,β located just over the Mexican border and above cursed ancient ruins, the βCulebrasβ are monstrous beasts ready to kill. A walk through the “Twister” will leave guests fending from an immoral cast including an exotic dancer, Santanico Pandemonium, a mysterious and irresistible βCulebrasβ femme fatale and Queen Vampire.

- SyFyβs Face Off β In the Flesh – The best of gore and monstrous creations from Syfyβs hit competition series βFace Offβ will be live and βIn the Fleshβ as terrifying creatures surround guests during an all new street experience from eerie scarecrows that go to great lengths to protect a spine-chilling farmland to ghoulish brutes that haunt dilapidated castle ruins.
- Even more original content – Horrifying original haunted houses of gore and cannibalism and even more horrors fill the streets of Universal Studios as guests are terrified by dark creatures and sadistic villains.
The Skinny on Going
Tickets are on sale now and range from $96. If you’re a pass member you get a serious discount ranging from $42 -$73 a ticket. If you’re a passholder you also have the option of getting a Frequent Fear Pass for just $74 which gets you access every Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday night. That’s a sweet gig if you’re planning to be in the area.
The frequent Fear Plus Pass is $89 and that gets you into all the nights with an additional $15 charge for Fridays and Saturdays. ***Take it from me, a Halloween Horror Nights veteran and Florida resident / annual passholder -you’re waaaaay better off going on a weekday. The overall experience is better with shorter lines for haunted houses and beer (which is always a win)! ***Premiere passholders get free entry into select event dates (one entry).
Need a place to crash after the crap has been scared out of you? We recommend Cabana Bay Beach Resort.

I’ve actually never found any of the Halloween rides or haunted houses I’ve visited very scary, so I would love to go to something like this where I might get a bit scared! My dad lent me this old beat-up but early edition of Bram Stoker’s Dracula when I was a kid and I loved it, so I like the idea of the Dracula Untold part.
I’m never scared either. I really go because I love horror, horror makeup, costumes, I love all the amazing things they do with the park at night to make it truly creepy. I have a thing for theatrics and stage design, and I think they do an amazing job with that. I’m also a vintage horror movie fanatic and Universal Studios is ground zero for the best monsters of all time. If you want the tar scared out of you, you need to go when there’s less people. I went through a haunted house in Gatlinburg once -the Mysterious Mansion… I was the only one in there and I was completely crapping my pants.
Can’t believe you guys aren’t that scared! I’m a complete baby. I think deep down I’ve watched too many episodes of criminal minds, and I have a very vivid imagination. I’m always afraid there’s a real murderer lurking… I don’t think I could handle this. Although I do LOVE the walking dead… π
hahaha!!! You know, now I’m totally going to think that. Actually they don’t allow masks or anything into the park – that’s not to say you couldn’t get one in but I think that’s why.
We have gone to the Universal Studios Los Angeles Halloween version years ago as college students and it was creepy! I was scared to be alone days after that visit π I’m not sure I can handle the gore these days but that Dracula maze sounds great.
Hahaha awe poor thing xx
I didn’t know there was a new Dracula movie coming out!!! Hahaha I know what my Halloween costume will be this year now π
Get with it!!! LOL <3
I’m not huge on Halloween/haunted house type stuff, but this seems like it would be pretty cool with the variety of options they have! I just HATE anything that pops out at me. But the creepy stuff is awesome!
Awe c’mon – just a little old zombie with a chainsaw π
Looks like a scary good time. Although it’d probably shave a few years off my life – I’m a scaredy-cat!
hahaha, awe π
This looks so cool! I’m a big Dracula fan, plus I love really good haunted houses – but I’ve never been to a halloween event this elaborate.
Oh it’s better than cool π
Oh my goodness, this would completely freak me out. I have a very active imagination and would somehow convince myself that it was all real. I think I’m more of a Disney Halloween gal. Anyways, after living for the last few years in a country that doesn’t celebrate Halloween, I am super excited to be back in America with all the crazy candy consumption and costumes.
Oh I would just DIE!!!!!! I love LOVE LOVE Halloween!!!!
I’m such a massive chicken when it comes to anything scary. I think I’d be skipping this one for sure.
HAHA awe π
