Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 blasts us 30-somethings and our children back to the 80’s again with this new trailer release. Of course since Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were created back in 1984 by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, we’ve seen the franchise evolve from comic books to an animated series on Nickelodeon. It was easy to get excited about the 2014 reboot. I think we all wanted this to be epic. still, it had negative reviews.
I thought it was an awesome movie. I was stoked to see it and happy when I left the theater, even happier I had the chance to love it again with my then six-year old son. So what does Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 bring that its predecessor didn’t? After watching the trailer to the sequel I have to say it looks a lot better than the 2014 film, but that could just be trailer magic. We won’t totally know of course until it hits theaters June 3, 2016.
On a kid’s note, my son loved the trailer. It’s on his must watch list for 2016.
On a mom note, I think Stephen Amell is pretty hot so that’s worth the popcorn. Seriously though, I think it’s going to be a good film. Keep an eye for it on my soon to come “Must Watch in 2016 Movie Trailers”.
