It’s an exciting time to be a gadget geek. With smart home technology, we are able to do more things remotely than ever before! And it’s super freakin cool! These days you can greet your UPS guy from anywhere in the world, let your housekeeper in, get notified when your kids are home and have your house vacuumed for you while you’re at work. The things you can do at home while not actually being there are amazing. I’ve been slowly collecting smart items for my home because let’s face it, it’s awesome to have a smart home! You know as an international travel and lifestyle blogger I can spend a lot of time away from home. It’s been tough at times when I’m not able to bring my son. The Zmodo Pivot 360 is a game changer for me when it comes to staying in touch with the people I love.
I tested and used this product for the better part of two months before writing this review because I really wanted to feel what it was like to make the Zmodo Pivot 360 an inanimate part of our family. You know, like that thing your family can’t live without. I quickly learned it was TOTALLY THAT THING! Especially since it has amazing picture quality and is super easy to use with the Zmodo smartphone app!
With the Zmodo Pivot 360 I am able to:
- Check in live with my family
- Talk through the camera to them and they can talk back (this is more fun than you can imagine)
- Monitor the house for movement when there shouldn’t be any
- Monitor the temperature and humidity
- Get notified right to my phone when there are changes
- It’s totally affordable at about $99
Plus, the camera came with a door and a window sensor so I can also monitor those remotely as well.
Every time I was away over the past month I thoroughly enjoyed checking in on my son and saying hi to the family. When we spent the day out at Six Flags I was able to keep an eye on the dog as well. This my friends is technology that everyone should have. Not just for security but to stay connected with the ones you love.
