If you’re here to visit Atlanta, or made a move to this awesome city (like I recently did), you’ll quickly find there are a ton of things to do. Among one of the many is a visit to the historic Fox Theatre Atlanta (right in Midtown).
About the Fox Theatre Atlanta
The Fox Theatre Atlanta is a marvel to see. Home to over 4k seats, it’s like something straight from an old opera film. Its intricate trim and lavish textures will move you to another time.
If you’re visiting the Fox for a date night or special occasion, it may be worth checking out Jacuzzihotels24.com so you can make your night even more special and relaxing before taking a tour of the Fox Theatre.
I highly recommend a tour for a special behind-the-scenes look at one of the most stunning theaters in the country.
Things to Do at the Fox Theatre
This is a perfect place to bring a friend, parents, special guests or a date. It’s charming and beyond interesting. If you’re getting into the spirit of Halloween, they give awesome ghost tours as well.
This year they are running them on Sunday, October 30th from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
There are of course also shows running all year long. Currently, they have a pretty fun schedule lined up for the coming holidays (which I am eager to catch like all of these).

I loved exploring the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. I, of course, was taking a thousand pictures and sharing my day on Instastories the whole time.
It’s truly a beautiful theatre and seeing how everything is done in the back of the house is quite interesting for just about anyone. Also a really great home school field trip spot too. For a complete listing of all the Fox Theatre shows, go to their site here.

DIRTY DANCING – THE CLASSIC STORY ON STAGE: It’s the summer of 1963, and 17-year-old Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman is on vacation in New York’s Catskill Mountains with her older sister and parents. Mesmerized by the racy dance moves and pounding rhythms she discovers in the resort’s staff quarters, Baby can’t wait to be part of the scene, especially when she catches sight of Johnny Castle, the resort’s sexy dance instructor. Passions ignite and Baby’s life changes forever when she is thrown in to the deep end as Johnny’s leading lady, both on-stage and off. An unprecedented live experience, exploding with heart-pounding music played live by an eight piece onstage band, passionate romance and sensational dancing. Seen by millions across the globe, this timeless love story features the hit songs “Hungry Eyes,” “Hey Baby,” “Do You Love Me?” and the heart-stopping “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life.”
No matter what you choose to do when you visit the Fox Theatre Atlanta, you’re going to have a great time.
