Although it’s been a while since our last glimpse of Captain Jack Sparrow, he’s finally returned. Walt Disney Pictures released the first teaser trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales during the season 2 finale of Fear The Walking Dead. Even though it’s been 5+ years since On Stranger Tides, our favorite pirate franchise is picking back up in the best possible way.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Teaser Trailer
In the fifth Pirates film, Captain Salazar, along with his crew of ghost pirates, has escaped from the Devil’s Triangle and is on a mission to hunt down and kill every pirate, including Captain Jack Sparrow. In order to save himself, Jack must find the Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that grants its wielder complete control over the seas.
The cast includes Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Kaya Scodelario, Javier Bardem, Geoffrey Rush and Brenton Thwaites. Dead Men Tell No Tales is directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales opens in theaters May 2017 in 3D, RealD 3D and IMAX 3D and is sure to be a summer box office success!
