There are few places that give me the super fangirl feels. The Legoland Beach Retreat is definitely one of them. I’m a big fan of Lego, and wouldn’t you know, my son is too. So when we were invited to Legoland Florida to check out their Beach Retreat we were pretty excited. There’s something super fun and special about being surrounded by something you’re a crazy huge fan of. And this definitely fit that category, for both of us.

The Legoland Beach Retreat at Legoland Florida

The Legoland Beach Retreat features guest accommodations for families who want to stay in something with a house-like feel. The villas are set up in duplex style and the entire property is built to look like it’s made of Legos. There are several villas set up around a playground giving a neighborhood-like intimate appeal rather than a giant space filled with door numbers.

I loved our little villa with its porch and lounge table. Inside we had a King size bed and a small room with a bunk bed. I did find the room itself to be pretty small for the number of people it sleeps, but overall it was a really great space with lots of Lego references and fun little details.

On the property, there is a resort pool that hosts pool parties and has an open fire pit for roasting marshmallows. There’s also an adult beverage bar and a restaurant that offers breakfast with your stay. The building is of course themed to Lego and has a gift store inside. The food was pretty good. I found there to be a variety of offerings for most diets. I especially liked that there was a play area indoors for the kids when they were done eating.

The Beach Retreat also offers a Lego-themed shuttle bus over to the park. Of course, this is perfect and makes staying at this resort so easy.

Legoland Beach Retreat

After a long day at Legoland, it was nice to keep the adventure alive by staying at the Legoland Beach Retreat. Unwinding by the pool and roasting marshmallows was a perfect way to end a super fun day. Morning, noon and night we were geeking out to one of our favorite toy brands. It was a really special mom and son getaway.

Special thanks to Legoland Beach Retreat for hosting us. This in no way shaped my opinion in this post. And special thanks to our long-term partner Kia Motors America for giving us a Kia Niro Hybrid to drive.
