This is part two of my Cinderella Premiere fairy tale adventure. Don’t jump in the middle, check out the first half of this enchanting day at the JCPenney Glam Ball.

When I woke up and looked out over Hollywood the morning of the premiere, I kept thinking how blessed I felt to have been invited… Still feels like a dream.

The Cinderella Premiere at the El Capitan Theater

If you told me five years ago I would be walking the red carpet for the Cinderella Premiere at THE El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, I would have most definitely said, “hell yeah, I friggin wish!”. Yet there I was, ,just little old me standing there in fabulous shoes, with a fabulous tutu, and fabulous accessories. I literally felt like I was Cinderella entering the ballroom for the first time in her life.

I stayed close to Tammie Reed of Talking with Tammi, Atlanta’s premiere fashion blogger. We hit it off from the start and let’s face it, when you’re at a world premiere among the stars, it’s best to travel in twos. I knew she was well seasoned on the red carpet and I needed to make sure I had a solid go to.

We had just finished getting styled at the JCPenney Glam Ball on the 20th floor of the Loews Hollywood Hotel. We were feeling like princesses, dressed like them for sure, and rocking some sweet swag from the great peeps at JCPenney. We had just finished the Pre-Premiere Reception where we viewed the Cinderella Costume Exhibit when she called out,

Cinderella World Premiere Red Carpet

Here we go, you ready?

I took a deep breath and one look at my sparkly heels then made a snap shot in my mind of their silver satin against the red carpet. I was really here.

The first thing I saw were at least a hundred photographers piled on top of each other with big fancy flashes. I thought,

oh dear God please don’t let me fall.”

I followed the golden ropes along the red carpet. To my left Lily James posing for pictures in her flawless Elie Saab gown. To my right a royal blue damask graphic with the Cinderella logo sprawled along the backdrop of the red carpet. I was completely starstruck by her doll like appearance. I swear, I didn’t think I would be, but that freakin dress was AMAZING! I think if God is a girl, she’s going to be wearing Elie Saab.

The lights were bright, the cameras were flashing, and I was really there on the red carpet.

Just having some fun with the old horn blowers LOL.

When we made it past the walking part of the red carpet (for lack of a better term, the part where all the press was lined up for pics), the hospitality area opened up into a perfect Cinderella themed party complete with sword fighting tyrants, musicians, dancers, and stilt performers all dressed in period clothing.

The people were pouring in, the children were having a blast, and there were more tiny Cinderellas than I could even count. It was truly a magical ballroom event, but much like Cinderella’s Ball, this red carpet party had come to an end. Before I knew it, the horns were sounding and it was time to make our way into the world-famous El Capitan Theater Cinderella Premiere.

I wrestled with my tutu, the curtains drew (like 4 sets of them), and the movie began…

About My Look: My tutu was designed and provided by American Blossoms. My jewelry was all vintage from antique stores with the exception of my bracelets which were gifted to me by JCpenney at the Glam Ball. My heels were Lulu Townsend.
