Vail – USA

Buttermilk, one of the four descents that comprise Aspen Snowmass has hosted Winter X-Games regularly, and the World Cup Women’s Downhill on the Aztec run has been hosted here too.
Aspen Snowmass is known for challenging terrain and attracts intermediate to advanced skiers as a result. It does have some comparatively easy runs, however, which are ideal for those new to the sport.
Val d’Isere – France
For some of the finest European skiing in the world, Val d’Isere’s offering is one of the best. The village is located in a pine tree-covered valley, and this makes it ideal for skiing all year round.
The 12,000 feet high mountains provide on and off-piste skiing challenges, with many that want a different kind of ski challenge using neighboring Tignes for black runs.
Cortina D’Ampezzo – Italy
Italy is a beautiful country with sweeping countrysides, exciting cities, and jagged, beautiful mountain ranges that offer some of the best skiing in the world.
Cortina D’Ampezzo is well known to most skiers thanks to its use in the Olympic Games. It is known for being high end although more wallet-friendly options can be found with a little digging.
