Minecraft Story Mode Season Two is set to premiere with Episode 1: Hero in Residence for download starting July 11, 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android-based devices! I can start making a list and checking it twice of all the people in my life who will be excited for this. With two industry big dogs involved in this project, can you imagine how amazing it is going to be? #SayWhaaaaaat?!
Five All-New Episodes of the Adventure Game Series, Minecraft Story Mode Season 2
We’re all happy to hear that Minecraft Story Mode Season Two continues Jesse’s saga in a five-part series developed by Telltale in collaboration with Mojang and members of the Minecraft community.
Players’ picks from the first season will carry over into season two but will still be accessible to both returning fans and newcomers alike (check out MinecraftHowTo.com for some survival tips to master the game), which we think is super rad.
This second season will include Telltale’s unique multiplayer ‘Crowd Play’ feature which allows friends and family to engage with the adventure together by helping to decide the direction of the story from any mobile device with an online connection. You can basically have a Minecraft party!
Last season we saw Jesse and the gang vanquish the Wither Storm and save the world. Being a super epic world saving hero has its complications, especially when you land your hand in a creepy gauntlet that belongs to an ancient underwater temple. With Minecraft Story Mode Season Two we have an all new adventure where Jesse finds himself with his trusty friends on a mission to save the world. And rumor has it, there will be at least one temperamental llama! (Who doesn’t love a good moody llama!?)
Cast Lineup
Minecraft Season 2 will feature voice work from Patton Oswalt, Catherine Taber, Ashley Johnson, and Scott Porter, as well as cameos from Stampy Cat, stacyplays, and other personalities from the Minecraft community.
I don’t know about you, but my kid is mad stoked about this. He stopped dead in his tracks when I told him about the press release and you can bet he’s going to be glued to Minecraft Story Mode Season Two.
