Walt Disney Pictures just announced in a press release that Lucasfilm will be rolling out ‘Find the Force’ as the Force Friday II promotion ahead of its third Disney/Lucasfilm Star Wars installment and eighth episode, Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The pop-up AR (augmented reality) promo commemorates the launch of the film’s new fan merchandise while allowing them to be uber geeks. It’s an interactive sharing/shopping extravaganza with an opportunity to win tickets to the Star Wars: The Last Jedi premiere in December.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the next segment of the Star Wars franchise following standalone film, Rouge One. It hits theaters December 15th, 2017. (And if you don’t know what Star Wars is, you should go back into the cave you’ve been in for the last twenty years and keep carving strikes).

Lucasfilm announced today its Find the Force promotion which invites fans across thirty countries from September 1-3 into 20,000 retailers worldwide to battle the dark side while shopping for their favorite new fan toys.
