The planet is crawling with zombies…
As a zombie enthusiast, I couldn’t help but to add this to the Monster a Day series. I had no idea when I began to research “zombie events” just how many happenings I would come upon. Behold, a little list of links to even bigger lists of Zombie events for the rest of 2013. Enjoy!
Zombie Run database for the United States
Crawl of the Dead zombie crawl database for the United States

I think this will be a list that I come back to. I would like to build this up quite a bit. If you have any input about zombie events in your area, please add the name of the event with a link in the comments.
Looks like Ireland has been Zombie free since 2012, 🙂

OooooOOoooh
I wonder if they will hold it again… Steven’s Green no less, lol the perfect contrast of pretty and gross lol.
Not sure, it seems to have been a once off, The Irish would not take to kindly to a Zombie invasion, we have enough monsters of our own here, 😛
lmao! This is true. Interesting why other parts of the world are so fascinated on the Zombies (myself included)…
Dont get me wrong, I think every home should have one, they make great target practise, 😛
Here in the US we sell targets that look like zombies. We have a whole line of zombie airguns lol. It’s bananas.
Airguns??? I’m sure you can do better than that? There is only one tool for taking out a Zombie army, Colt AR-15 🙂
LOL no no I’m saying they have Zombie decorated airguns lol not intended for taking anything out but zombie paper targets haha. Yeah an AR 15 would get er done.
Not US or UK, but when I attended it in 2011 the Weekend of Horrors (http://www.weekendofhorrors.com – a German Horror convention) had a zombie walk with the total of 3 zombies/participants and several people that were dressed up as such running around the halls…I don’t know if they still do the walks though…
(If you’re interested you can find a review about the convention here: http://randompoison.wordpress.com/2013/08/29/weekend-of-horrors-2011/)
Wait.. there were only 3 walkers?
Yup…they officially called it a zombie walk and invited all zombies present to participate, but only three of them were willing to trot and/or scuff across the parking ground…
It was a pity, but at least one of them was really funny… 🙂
LMAO oh my goodness…. Here in the US we have thousands of people dying to… die lol.
As I said, I don’t know what it’s like these days, but back then they were all quite shy to run around openly outside the convention hall.
But it is not surprising as people at conventions over here are still gaining courage through all the stuff they see people create/do/etc. in the States.
Yeah.. well we are just nuts over here. Anything goes lol.
Zombie 2.8 Hours Later will be in Cardiff on March 28-29 and April 4-5, 2014. A game in which zombies (actors!) chase you and “bite” (splash) you with invisible ink to represent that you’ve been infected.
