Build The Force at LEGOLAND Florida Star Wars Days

LEGO is huge in my house – it’s all my son (and oftentimes husband) want to play with. Throw in a Star Wars LEGO set into the mix and my kid is so busy building it’s like having an afternoon all to myself. One of the perks of living in Central Florida is having LEGOLAND Florida close by. We were stoked to receive our invite for the LEGO Star Wars Days and drove the mere 45 minutes from Orlando to Winter Haven and spent the day in LEGO Star Wars heaven.

This two-Day Event features LEGO Star Wars themed activities all around the park. There are costume parades, character meet and greets, impressive Star Wars LEGO displays and more. This exclusive, one-weekend-only event is included with your admission ticket so no Jedi mind tricks required.

The big LEGO characters that were built and on display around the park were beyond impressive. The kiddo loved seeing his new favorite characters from The Force Awakens in their LEGO form.

The event featured the LEGO Star Wars Miniland Model Display with seven iconic scenes from the six live-action Star Wars movies, all made from 1.5 million LEGO bricks.

To make the event even more fun, fans are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite LEGO Star Wars characters and take part in a costume parade. If you’re lucky, you may get an awesome LEGO pin for dressing up and will have the chance to win a LEGO Star Wars prize pack.

Aside from all of the Star Wars goodness throughout the park for this exclusive weekend, LEGOLAND Florida has more than 50 rides, a boat show, the new LEGO Movie show, a gorgeous botanical garden and the 5-acre LEGOLAND Water Park. There’s a lot to see and do and it’s perfect for the 2-12 age group. LEGOLAND has 12 different LEGO-themed areas and of course there are plenty of opportunities to build while there, including while waiting in the queue for rides.

LEGOLAND Florida hosts Star Wars Days annually as well as other fun events throughout the year. Their Halloween themed Brick-or-Treat happens on weekends through the month of October and features trick or treating, the largest LEGO jack-o-lantern, and more. Christmas Bricktacular happens in December and include holiday activities and you can meet LEGO Santa himself. If you have a LEGO lover in your home, LEGOLAND is the place to go.

The Force is strong at LEGOLAND Florida.
