When I started a recent search for pet friendly places near me in Canton, Georgia I was surprised to find only listings of restaurants and hotels.

If you’re anything like us, we take our dog, who is affectionately named Noreen the Queen the Cuddle Machine, everywhere.

Especially in the cooler months when she can hang out with the windows down. But what about taking her along to run errands?

I’ve been living in Canton, Georgia for a little over a year now and when I’m home we have a very set routine of places we go. You know, your normal run of the mill errands like banking, supplies for projects and going to different eateries.

I’ve learned exactly where I can and can’t take Noreen. And sometimes this means I have to say, “stay”.

I really try to avoid those adorable sad puppy dog eyes, so I’ve made a mental list of pet friendly places in Canton, Georgia. I plan my errands around these places and now you can too.

It’s a small list, and there are certainly other pet friendly places which you can find on Bring Fido for your local city and more information about how to be the best pet parent. There are also tips and tricks for your furry family member so make sure you check out PetBlogish.

Pet Friendly Places Near Me in Canton, Georgia

The Home Depot

Did you know that you can bring your furry friend to the Home Depot? Me either! Recently I was waiting at the paint counter and counted several dogs on leashes.

I had to ask the guy behind the counter if they were one of the pet friendly places in Canton. And indeed they are! They even give out milk bones! Now, every time I put Noreen on her leash and say, “do you want to go to Home Depot?”, she goes bananas!

Considering crafts and home projects are some of my favorite things to work on, being able to bring Noreen with me has allowed me to to visit Home Depot even more with no dog mom guilt!

She loves her visits there!

Carriage Kia of Woodstock

Now I know this is technically Woodstock but I’m throwing this one in here for those of you who sit and wait for your car to be serviced while missing you little pup like I do.

When I first bought my Kia Niro to Carriage Kia of Woodstock to get an oil change I was totally prepared to wait outside with Noreen. But then I found out that they are another one of the pet friendly places in Woodstock!

They love dogs there! And they have such a nice waiting area with snacks and hot spots for you to work on your laptop, it makes getting an oil change or another service as painless as possible.

Plus you get to have all the sweet kisses and cuddles from your pet. Not to mention, you can also charge up your electric car here are well. It’s like having a coffee break with your best bud!

Buffalo’s Southwest Cafe

Buffalo’s Southwest Cafe is right down the road from us, so it’s an easy go-to spot where we can bring the whole family. On a nice day, it’s a treat to sit outside with Noreen and order her a plain burger patty.

She really is spoiled!

Bruster’s Real Ice Cream

Who doesn’t like ice cream right? I love going out with my kiddo and Noreen just as the sun is beginning to set for ice cream runs at Bruster’s.

What’s super cool is that they make free dog sundaes with a dog bone on top! Going to Bruster’s is a treat for everyone! And it might be one of Noreen’s favorite pet friendly places in Canton!

J.P. Morgan Chase at Riverstone

I love everything about banking with Chase, especially the fact that they are a pet friendly place. They keep treats on hand for their furry customers and they are totally cool with you taking a seat with your pup to wait for service.

Here in Canton, at the Chase Bank on Riverstone, they know Noreen by name! I love that small-town vibe. It’s things like this that make running errands and adulting so much easier.

7 Tequilas Mexican Restaurant

What’s a family without its go-to Mexican joint right? I know I get cranky if I don’t get to sink my teeth into a burrito here and there.

One of my favorite pet friendly places is 7 Tequilas. They have a nice patio area where you can bring your pup! I love hanging out and enjoying nice nights outside there. It’s a perfect spot for a margarita and Noreen.

Your dog is absolutely adorable. I know my dog loves going out with me and I used to take him frequently. But have had issues since divorcing. Harder to take him out when I can’t keep him with me at places.
