The first teaser trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 was just released and it looks AMAZING! Guardians of the Galaxy is my absolute favorite Marvel film – I went into it not sure what to expect and came out a huge fan. Although the plot isn’t entirely clear from this sneak peak, it does look like the whole gang is back and ready to kick some butt.

Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), and even Baby Groot (Vin Diesel) have all made their return along with the film’s fantastic soundtrack. The teaser is set to Blue Suede’s “Hooked on a Feeling,” which was one of the 70s hits on Peter Quill’s mix-tape.

Thankfully the film’s dry sense of humor is back, too. It was pretty nice of the director, James Gunn to put together this little sneak peak for all of us who just simply can’t wait for the official trailer to release. From Gunn himself:

So the 1st #GotGVol2 trailer is coming soon; in the meantime we put together this special sneak peak for you.

To make it clear: the sneak peek just released is NOT a teaser-for-the-trailer; it’s a totally separate piece from the eventual trailer(s).

As far as teasers go, this one if exactly what I needed. I haven’t been following any of the rumors about the film as I like to live a spoil-free life, but from what I’ve seen I know this film is going to be AMAZING. Both the sneak peak and the new black and white poster are beyond epic.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 hits theaters everywhere May 5, 2017. Be sure to check back here for more updates on the film.
