About the Absence of Luke Skywalker
So where is Luke Skywalker in all the latest publicity shouts? This seems to be the big question we’ve all been left with after his absence in both the trailer and these posters. I did a little research and everyone seems to be in the same boat on this. No answers.
Wired.com mentions in their poster release article the bizarre absence of Luke Skywalker who, was also
suspiciously absent from the big poster revealed two weeks ago, leading to a lot of fan speculation about what his omission meant. (Luke, notably, was also not much of a presence in the latest trailer, something Abrams has called “no accident.”)
We all want to know why this is being kept a secret. Naturally we are all making up our own suggestions. It will be really interesting to see how this plays out. Does he turn to the dark side?
Lucasfilm and visionary director J.J. Abrams join forces to take you back again to a galaxy far, far away as Star Wars returns to the big screen with Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
