Known by the locals of Middlebury as the “creepiest place in Connecticut”. This smurf-sized village was discovered in the woods of Middlebury near the ruins of an old stone home. It is said to be the remains of an abandoned fairy village built by the hands of the owners who were eventually driven to madness.  Read the legend and the truth behind the Little People’s Village here.

  1. Great share! I have something similar to this not far from my home here in New Jersey. Fact is most definitely stranger than fiction (and a hell of a lot of fun to explore lol)
