20 Nerdy Easter Egg Ideas for the Nerdy Family

Easter is coming up at the end of the month and while most people decorate Easter eggs for their kids, there’s certainly no reason adults can’t get in on the action, too. Gone are the days of just popping a colored tablet in a cup of vinegar and using a wax crayon for designs. There are so many ways to decorate eggs, and although some are easier than others, it’s amazing what a little paint and markers can do. Since nerd style is what I do, I decided to create some geeky eggs and will be sharing 20 Nerdy Easter Egg Ideas to help you feel inspired to make your own.

Batman vs. Superman came out last year and I just had to immortalize these two as my very own Easter Eggs.

Making Nerdy Easter Eggs is Easier than You Think!

Making these eggs may look hard, but with the right supplies, you can turn any plain egg into an eggcellent work of art. Here are some supplies you’ll want to craft your own nerdy eggs.

  • Painters tape
  • acrylic paints
  • Pencil to draw out my designs
  • Sharpie marker for some of the fine details
  • Time and patience, but you too can create your own epic Easter eggs

Here are some of my favorite nerdy Easter egg ideas that I know will get your creative juices flowing.
