Who Knew, Mother Goose Laid to Rest in Boston

Okay so maybe this is common knowledge, but I had no idea until now that Mother Goose  is thought to be buried in the Granary Burial Grounds dead smack dab in the middle of Boston, MA. Mary Goose died at the young age of 42 in 1690.

Many argue that this is not her actual resting place but ask a Bostonian and they will stand their ground that this is indeed the headstone of Old Mother Goose.

Mary Goose is neighbor to Paul Revere and John Hancock, just to name a couple…
